Transmission X is a debut album that needs to be looked out for in 2009 it has all the hallmarks of a classic, with Dag's raspy vocal work, arena like guitars, intricate keyboards and air punching anthems. They also draw influences from Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Foo Fighters, so there is plenty going on here. Their commercial appeal is fantastic and they can fit alongside fellow Norwegians "TNT" and "Stage Dolls" with perfect ease. These guys are just at home playing rockers like "Who Will to run you", "Unbelievable" as they are at sugar coated ballads like "Time to Say Goodbye" and the fantastic "Stay". In the grooves you will find similarities to Hush but the songs are much stronger, with fist punching anthems and blistering guitar chords. With a grand, tight production and huge melodic songs the band TXS are on to a winner. Some twelve years later and here we are with a new band and a new approach to rock. Dag, Terje, and Kenneth are no strangers to the rock scene they were all in the first version of Norwegian band "Hush" in 1996, a band who played original tunes as well as songs by Def Leppard, Van Halen and ZZ Top.
